- Sauna
The ancient Greeks already knew and understood the benefits of using sauna. Hot sauna should be used in a combination with an alternating cold source; therefore it has to be located near a shower or other cold water source.
Why is the use of sauna an answer to various problems caused by our civilisation?
The heart and increased blood circulation provide an increased quantity of oxygen and other beneficial substances to our bodies, taking care of each cell. Extremely hot and dry air cause fast and intensive sweating and thus clean the tissue not only on the surface, but also in depth. The regular use of sauna can help reduce and prevent asthma, allergies, eczema, bronchitis, cellulite, weak blood circulation in the organs, coronary spasms, colds, infections, arthritis, schiatica, to name just a few.

- Infrared Sauna
In the past 25 years, the Japanese and Chinese professionals have discovered and clinically tested numerous healing effects of the infrared radiation.
The IR Sauna stimulates passive cardio-vascular activity, and it is especially suitable for people whose normal bodily movement is restricted in one way or another (for example due to the use of a wheelchair), or those who do not have enough time for physical activity to strengthen their cardio-vascular system. The regular use of IR Sauna puts the cardio-vascular system under similar conditions as a regular physical activity. The IR rays warm up the tissue 4 cm deep, therefore reaching the inner organs, while the body responds with an increased heart-beat, and consequently increased blood flow through the heart, as it wants to cool down.
In the early 1980s, the NASA scientists discovered that the radiation with IR rays is an ideal way of preserving the cardio-vascular condition of astronauts during long flights into the space.
The use of callories and body weight control
Scientists have discovered that in order to produce 1 g of sweat, 0.586 kcal is needed. In the IR Sauna an average user easily loses 500 g of sweat, which is approximately 300 kcal or equal to running 5 to 8 kilometres. The loss of weight is regained by drinking water, however, the calories are lost forever. By using the IR Sauna, we use roughly 900 to 2400 kcal in 30 minutes, which equals to a 9-15 km run.- » Weight-loss «
